Jasmine pearl tea begins with young green tea leaves that are carefully hand-rolled into compact pearls. During jasmine season in Fujian, the tea is scented with fresh blossoms so the leaves gradually absorb their fragrance. When steeped, the pearls open back into leaf as the jasmine aroma rises from the cup.
Jasmine is one of the teas we reach for when someone tells us they “don’t really drink tea.” The fragrance catches you first, but it’s the smooth, naturally sweet cup underneath that keeps it approachable. We chose these pearls because the jasmine is expressive without hiding the green tea beneath it, and because watching the leaves unfold makes brewing it part of the experience.
